Same story here but it was bike forks. I was glad to get even some of the money back from Royal Mail and in their defence they were very quick.
eBay has completely gone to shit. Any dispute they find in favour of the buyer, return their funds and don't even give the seller a chance. I tend to avoid it for selling stuff now.
