my 2 cents if someone will do it for you for $350, I'd let them (assuming they are competent).
I considered a DIY on this. Another forum member nearly pleaded with me to reconsider, said he was pretty experienced but still managed to mess it up. Apparently it's easy to break the crankcase breather hose and add more time and cost to your effort in the process.
There are people who've done it so I know it's not impossible, but I've read you can spend an entire day on it if things go well. I just think I'd hand it off for $350.
