A fuel pump will cause issues like this, mostly in the higher rpms were the fuel demand is more. It will also show on the idrive,,the level sensor has nothing to do with the pump, there seperate from each other. When was the last time you had a systems update, new plugs, clean vanos solinoids, and air filter? These will also create systems like these.
