ok, just got back from bmw of concord. the costco deal was a complete waste of my time. it turned out to be just a few hundred dollars below MSRP.
instead, i went ahead and tried to negotiate the deal as a non-costco customer and got a great deal. $1,200 over invoice on an E92 335i. signed the papers right there, right then.
i'm so glad i didn't have to go around a million of dealerships fighting for a good price. also, the negotiation was amazingly easy. i said i'd pay $1,000 over invoice. my CA said he can do $1,200 over. i said, deal!
he was juggling 2-3 other clients while he was dealing with me but as long as i got a good deal (which i did) i didn't give a shit. i highly recommend him. let me know if you need his contact info.
