Cool info, but can we see what, if any, issues people have had? This would make this thread a little more useful. There's been a few that have posted which is cool.
It'd be interesting to actually see how these motors are holding up as no one necessarily posts "Hey, my HPFP is fine!" or "No wastegate rattle here!"
That being said...
2007 335i: Bought new 5/27/2007. Completely stock. 72K miles on it.
Driven mild during the week (short commute). Driven comparatively harder on the weekends to let it open up and breathe more. Been driven at one autox and a couple of passes at the drag strip.
Issues:
Replaced turbos at around 40K miles on 1/09 for wastegate rattle.
Replaced throw out bearing at 20K because of rattling.
That's it.
