The stock sport suspension sits about a half inch lower than the non sport suspension. The H&R Springs for your vehicle will drop the front 1.3" and rear 1.2" from the non sport suspension which is typically the lowest you would want to go without moving to coilovers. These will not have a problem with your stock wheels/tires or something close to it from an aftermarket set up.
In my opinion the H&R springs are the best solution, they are an excellent quality product for the price. Your stock struts should be fine, but may have a problem if they bottom out too many times and the piston damages the base plate of the shock and they start leaking.
