So I am checking out a 335i sedan and noticed that the drivers side seat bolt (the one closest to the door) had signs of rust and possible salt residue.
the rest of the car didnt show signs of water damage (didnt get to check under the trunk carpet yet)
my question is:
- is this a common issue on the e90/e92 specifically 335i?
- could it be possible that this is NOT an issue that would effect the whole car?
- how could this have happened if the car wasnt submerged/ partially submereged in water
ps. i am scheduling a PPI
