Actually that is a very good point above...

MT is going to limit you in either case...they kill me on the trade in's because of it (and actually scored an unbelievable deal on my MINI for the same reason).

In NY, the AWD should definitely help if you're looking to sell it on your own and would choose that because of it and the mileage. If you're just looking to trade it in, I'd go with car 1.
