It's really hard to believe that some people say that they got no drone at all, while others have too much of it. What gives?

I'm in NJ/Philly area, too far away.
When you say that you have no drone, are you saying that you do not get an annoying constant deep WOOOOOOO sound from 2000 to 2500 rpms (regardless of speed)?
If this is so the only thing that i can think of that could be causing the drone is the piping, which makes no sense because SS is SS.
