I payed 100.000 USD for the 318I. State are taking all our money here....
But i am still happy for the car. Engine is ok for this country.

And we have to think on the enviroment to. Prices are set high so all people dont buy extreme big cars. Another thing here - the smaller car you buy - the more the goverment give you in discount on taxes.
Plan in europe this year are to reduce CO2 with 30%. Denmark has already managed to reduce it by 20%. And one of the things you can do are to buy cars with smaller engines. If sales go up in bigger cars - they will raise taxes again.

I am also sure of that in near future the BMW may not be so popular in the US when the new law comes to europe. All eu car production have to have an average outlet of Co2 that says 120mg. This will cut off the most consuming cars and they are forced to make wery small cars to - to meet the demand thats average.
They did not agree on that yet. But they startet it - so something are going to be decided in this matter soon. Mb it will be 140 - or 130. But it will be much lower then now.
Its sad - but i am sure its nessesary
(hope my english are readable)
oh wow !! 2.1 USD a little...damn .
Say what???? 200.000 USD for a 335i are u serious man?
All this just to reduce Co2, but why u guys have to do it or europe in general and rest of the world doesn't even care . That sux .
