Time for an update -

Turbo Dynamics have sent over more pictures today showing the state of wear around the wastegate crank arm and the bush. The first picture shows the amount of scoring that has happened on the arm itself - a sign that there is premature wear going on. The two after show the actual wear in the bush itself.

The next two pictures show the work done on the turbine side of things. TD have done a little fabricating to re-profile fractionally the exhaust turbine wheel in order to lighten the wheel for faster spool up, and also to decrease back pressure.

TD spent the rest of yesterday and most of today (12 hours total) fabricating a jig in order to allow them to balance the turbos. They also had to custom make oil fittings for these turbos. Fortunately they'll be keeping this new jig so that other people in future can have their turbos overhauled in a shorter time!

There's still a fair bit to be done, and I'll have more pictures and information as and when it comes through! Am fairly excited it has to be said!
