I agree with you.
But, what I don't agree with is that "a tune will not help at Laguna Seca."

The best thing that I learned was from leftcoastman, and that was "learn on street tires." I was seriously thinking of getting the NT-01s for my track tires, but leftcoastman was very adimant against the purchase because R comps mask mistakes.
I'm sure if I had the LSD, things would have been a little easier to control as well, but all in all, I'm happy for my overall 3rd track day.

I'm sure your times will increase a good amount with a tune. Especially since you have the BBK and the LSD to go with it.

NCRC will be there in Dec for $170, and that's a good group to run with.

As for no tune or R-comps, yes you can learn allot. I was running mid 1:55 towards the end of Saturday with NT-05's, RPI FMIC, and upgraded oil cooler with no tune. I think my goal would be low 1:5X's without a tune at best.

I'll tell you this much, I was hanging with a couple M3's in the turns but ended up getting walked away from in every straight. I'd like to be tuned next time to see how it goes.

Here's a 1:56 of mine from sat
