Yeah, the slot for the nozzle to go in, only will fit the standard nozzle size for diesel. But when you buy the car, they include a little plastic kind of funnel/adapter that slides into the slot and then allows you to fit nozzles that don't adhere to the standard size.
I'd say probably about 15% of pumps I've gone to need the adapter.
