pls pls pls.. what is the trick to actually get this approved..

I just got in an accident last month.. minor front end damage.. that yielded $15k in damage....dont hit a tire on the freeway,, just saying.. and jam your intercooler into your radiator.. etc..

But now after all said and done,, brand new parts, i still have to limp the car around since after the wreck my turbos make a siren sound, and the insurance doesnt want to cover it cause it was a known issue beforehand on these cars..
Push your insurance and mention that you did not have any problems with turbos before (is that what cause you limp mode?) the accident besides rattle which dealer did not indicate as a problem (in writing from dealer). If insurance is saying it was a known issue beforehand (how did they come to that conclusion?), get that in writing and take it to the dealer. This looks like neither insurance nor the dealer want to pay for it, so they push it around and hope you just take it. Maybe even take the car to an independent specialist which can verify the cause of your limp or turbo problem?

In either case turbo is warrantied up to 82k miles, but only if it is specifically related to wastgate rattle problem (not 100% sure on this). I have an 09 335i E90 and saw this information when had my service history printed by the dealer.
