My car got Rear Ended in January, went to couple shops and finally bought the OEM M sport Front and Rear bumpers, and bumper parts through Tischer.
Installed them at my apartment garage. Took me 2 hr for the rear, and almost 3 hr for the front.
Special thanks to those great post in DIY, and also Evan@Tischer, phat8186 ...
Here is my list:
Front Bumper +
1. Bumper Grill - Center: 51118041179
2. Bumper Grille - Left: 51118041181
3. Bumper Grille - Right: 51118041182
4. EURO AIR DUCT (Oil Cooler): 51748045348
5. Fog Lamp Support - Driver (Left): 51118044377
6. SUPPORT, FOG LAMP (RIGHT): 51118043230
7. Fog lights, bought it from forum member. Usually cost at least 100 for each side.
Rear Bumper+
7. M-Sport Bumper Trim: 51128041192
8. Tow Hook Cover - Rear: 51127893147
9. M Sport Rear Diffuser: 5112804389
Unnecessary But Still Part of Front Bumper:
10. Air Duct - Left: 51748045363
11. Air Duct - Right: 51748045364
REMEMBER: slid the rear bumper to the tail side if you want to take the rear bumper out without break the tabs!
The Brake duct did not totally blocked by the new bumper. Beside, the air come out from brake duct seems not go directly onto the brake. So I think replace the OEM oil duct with M tech one is enough at this point. Unless you take the car to track very often. Been driving for 5 days, notice the oil temperature seems lower than before. (still keep eyes on them)
Do some basic exercise before you start it, or your back gonna hurt like shytt. (like mine...)
Have couple beers after, and take a good day off the next day. Take your car out and enjoy your own work!
My car was dirty...
Pictures for sure!
