It means that if I felt some uncontrollable need to waste money on a coating for these double wall air gap insulated OEM manifolds, that I wouldn't do it internally. Typically is just not advisable on turbocharged applications. For other systems that use traditional single walled tubular manifolds I'd recommend coating, but I'd still personally shy away from doing anything internally. We all have our opinions though, this is just mine.
