3-4 rev/mile seem to be about the same as 1% diameter but whichever measurement you use, when we say "working overtime" we mean "clunking, straining, banging" as it thinks you are slipping when you aren't and is constantly trying to correct the perceived "skid". Most users have reported problems in the neighbourhood of 1%, which seems to have become the accepted baseline.
