Alignment is definitely NOT covered under premium selection.. And its not the extension of the manufacturers warranty either.. Although its still extremely comprehensive it doesn't cover as much as the original warranty.. I know this cos I had a failed radiator, water pump and expansion tank 1 week prior to the extended warranty finishing, BMW did end up fixing it but not after they tried to get some cash out of me for "out of warranty parts" I stuck my ground and refused to pay and ended up gettin it fixed.
Saying that the service manager said if the exact same thing was to happen next week bad luck.. No goodwill repairs will ever be carried out on a car that has the extended warranty which has expired.
