The old one, as I was helping at the shop, if is significantly heavier than the performance one. Roughly by 30%-40%. Not to mention the material used on the performance exhaust is noticeably better.
That's where the throaty sound comes from.
Top tips here, keep the connection parts facing inwards, that will avoid lots of steep ramps and curbs if you are lowered.

Overall, it provides a very throaty yet pleasant sound. To some degree, it is almost racy ready. Well, you've got plenty of youtube videos to justify my words. In reality, it could only be better~
