Yeah maybe, I don't know I just think it's my technique. My friend told me he used the same orbital from O'Reiley's and it turned out great using the same wax and compound I used. When I looked at the paint up close, it looked like the paint was shiny and wet without any swirl marks or scratches. It seriously looked like my paint was in flawless condition. I'm sure the higher end products would get it done quicker and better though.

Or the products you're using have a lot of fillers in it. Most OTC use fillers to give the effect of having no swirls
