Hmm, I don't think this is a permanent solution and I will tell you why. Bending the belt in the right direction won't last more than a few days and adds even more flex to the belt. What holds the belt to the handover is the belts rigidity. After prolong use, it becomes soft and slips off the handover. What is needed is a rigid portion of belt that can withstand long term use.
