Dude, same thing happened to me except I had someone in the car with a cut foot and I was running into walgreens to grab some bandages. Cops still gave me a ticket. There are only a few good cops, the rest of them give those few a horrible name. And although it might sound childish, every chance i get to ruin a cops day within the law I take.
P.S: I have never received a "warning". Gotta either pay or make connections when you live down here.
