I'm having the procedure done this coming Thursday with the guy Andy is recommending. I will post before and after pics. If you run a tune on your car (which accelerates the carbon deposits left on the valves) and have more than 30K, this is possibly the best thing you can do to preserve the performance of your car. My car has 66,xxx miles with JB2. At first it was great, but then I started to notice hesitation, especially under heavy load/boost. I took it to BMW Seattle and BMW Northwest, and both quoted me $800+ for walnut de-carb.

As you can imagine, I can't wait to drive the car after the procedure, as most who had the service done said that the difference was night and day.
