The service department are running a run out test tomorrow. The wheel specialist thinks that the rear will probably be ok to be replaced but doesn't have much hope for the front as the fronts are not the ones that are at the centre of scrutiny and he has only ever seen one ever front before in 12 years that has cracked.

Now, the front is cracked in two places, which to me says it must be weak to have cracked twice?

IF anyone has any advice or tips it would be greatly received

Thanks,

Tom.
Hi Tom. I've had 2 x 230's replaced on mine for cracks, one front, one back. Rare, but there you go. Good luck. Only tip is that if they don't agree to replace it FOC, stay calm and keep referring the matter up the chain of command.
