Having owned a E92 335d and now an E46 M3. Even just driving slowly the M3 feels special. It's more of an occasion. The leather is of better quality and the interior more focussed Around the driver.
It's a great car to thrash also. It's more raw than the refined 335 motorway muncher.
The diff alone is worth it for me. Makes the standard diff in the 335's feel pony.
Both wonderful cars. But why change for the sake of it.
