I think dip gets a bad rap because most jobs are done very poorly. Not putting enough film build(product) on is the most common mistake. The more coats the more cost, and most diy are doing it on the cheap. My wheels are dipped, but I see some AWFUL dips come through my job. It can protect your paint and be a nonpermanent color change. It just needs to be done correctly or else it IS ricer. Your pics look good.
