Yeah, hard to say. The rated power differences from BMW are skewed by the tuning, emissions requirements, marketing, etc. My guess is it would be marginal if anything.
But then again, there was a reason they went to the effort of re-tooling, adding 5 new part numbers, and complicating the assembly.
