Agreed, the difference between the LCI E90 and the F30 is much less than with a pre LCI in comparison.
The non LED tails on the pre LCI E9X looked dated compared to the LED tails of the LCI E46. Why they went backwards, i dont know. The nose of the F30 is distinctive but from the front wheel back the profile of the car is not much different than the E90 either.
What I don't care for on the F30 is that from behind at a distance, it is virtually identical to an F10. I always appreciated the distinctive differences between model types in the previous lines, where only subtle similarities or styling queues tide the lineup together.
