Your tinter needs to use a filler to bridge the gap between the dotmatrix and the holes where there is no dotmatrix. There have been lots of different methods tried and the most suitable method believe it or not is to use bog standard clear glue as sold in stationers (normally comes in a stick like a pen). I did it on my E46 (sorry no pics) but you can see the results on tint dude.
