thanks. yeah these work fine without upgrading as its only cosmetic issue. but you do know Marc has great service. he recently fixed my V1 even though its out of warranty for a long time
! All LUX units will have warranty regardless.
also paying $50 to upgrade power supplies is optional, but if you do that, your warranty gets renewed.
The price is not for the intent of people upgrading power supplies since these function fine. But i'm up to offers, but i think the price is fair since these do work.
