You've posted this a couple of times now. The pressure on the tire is a MAXIMUM pressure the tire can be inflated if under a very heavy load, NOT the RECOMMENDED tire pressure. My Conti Extreme Contact DWs say Maximum Inflation 51 psi. No one in their right mind would put 51 psi in their automobile tires for regular use, right?

Again, the BMW Owner's Manual that comes with the car has multiple pages on tire inflation recommendations based on tire size, driving speed, load carried, and whether the car has Sports Package or not.

And, as others have posted, you can use the plaque on the door jam IF it lists the tires you're using. Mine does not have a listing for 19" tires so I had to go to the manual. Yes...BMW recommends different pressure for 19" vs 17" and 18".

right but the BMW recommendations are for RFTs in the factory sizes hence my question.
