Here is what I would do: Keep 162s and get PSS tires. They will look better, built to last by BBS and PSS tires are awesome. Then get AA tune and enjoy!

I have thought about the cost difference between 18" and 19" and 18" are definitely more attractive price wise. So on that front, I'd say you have a good point. But I really don't have much of a soft spot for the 162's. I think they're just chunky, and don't emphasize the otherwise good looks of the e90. I'm thinking I should try to find a pair of used 701's in an 18" so I can run the rest of the life out of the Bridgestones.
