The rake is totally changed!! To my knowledge messing with the rake so far from OEM specs has an effect on the X drive system, as well as how tires wear.

As far as I understand the lack of rake on an XI doesn't effect the X drive system. The purpose of the rake is to help the car travel through the snow during the winter. I'd be curious to see where this information came from since that's the first I've heard of it. Do you by chance have a link?
As for tire wear, as long as you perform an alignment after the new suspension has settled you shouldn't see any abnormal tire wear.
