minimum wage is an american concept... i personally don't believe in minimum wages and there are plenty of economic theories showing that they are inefficient.
china has room to grow, as rich as they've gotten, there's plenty of poor people and third-world regions. their main challenge is that the cheap manufacturing is facing increasing competition from mexico, vietnam, etc. they need to keep things cheap and make them better at the same time (take a page from the japs).
