This is my reply:
It's called feedback.
If you have an active listing in which you are accepting money, promising shipping dates, and then completely blowing off those shipping dates without notice to the buyer, then others have a right to know what is going on.
It doesn't matter if you did nice things in the past, right now you are taking money and screwing with active buyers on promised shipping dates. If you are too busy to even send a PM about what's going on for that long, then simply stop taking peoples money until you can commit to them. I think that's pretty fair and simple.
