The jack exists on your amp, but JL Audio lists the RBC-1 (Remote Bass Control) for the 500/1v2 & the JX500/1 so that you can remotely control the Bass EQ of a single amp or all amps in a Master/Slave Config.
Funny thing is, the RBC-1 looks
exactly like the RLC unit I have - its just a phone cord with a seperate rotary knob...
