My E92 doesn't have that anti-glare black plastic like the E90. What I would do with that however is use the Meguiar's M40 on it, that will keep the plastic protected from UV rays and prevent oxidation/discoloration. Apply it a few times a year:

M40 is a good vinyl/rubber cleaner too so if there's any stains, discoloration, etc already on there, it can help with restoration. And apply that to all your rubber seals to keep the conditioned. It will make a difference down the line.
You can use 303 Aerospace on it as well, it's an excellent protectant as the product name accurately states.

303 Aerospace is all-purpose so there's generally no restrictions. Personally I don't use it on carpeting (I don't put anything on the carpeting, just vacuum) or window glass (I have tint so damp microfiber towel is it). I also don't use it on my pedals as it can make the rubber a bit slippery (I don't clean the pedals period). It's hard to do wrong with 303. It's one of my favorite products. Lots of non-automotive uses too.
