MODIFICATIONS:

Power

The car was last on the dyno ~March 2014, this was on the old injectors, fuel pump, and tune and only ~20% e85 mix. The car made 430/535 RWHP/TQ on a Dynojet. It should be noted the car is in a better state of tune and feels noticeably stronger than before; however, I have not had a chance to re-dyno. Similar setups have made over 450 RWHP.

Performance (Full Bolt Ons + Methanol Injection)

  • BMS Cowl Filters
  • BMS JB4 G5 with ISO (Also have original G4 with upgraded capacitors)

  • BMS Meth Injection Kit
  • BMS FSB Meth Controller
  • BMS Optional 2.3 Gallon Meth Tank (Comes full with 100% VP Racing M1!)
  • BMS Downpipe Fix (Secondary Oxygen Sensor Simulators) (not currently installed)

  • BMS Sport Oil Cooler Valve
  • Rob Beck Metal PCV
  • ER Chargepipe with meth port
  • Synapse BOV (recently rebuilt)
  • CX Racing (BT Style) Intercooler with Custom Piping
  • VRSF 3” Stainless Steel Off-Road downpipes
  • Mid-cat delete
  • Dual Dynomax 2.5” resonators added in place of factory muffler assembly (~40# weight savings and they sound awesome!)
  • SPEC Stage 3+ Clutch
  • SPEC Aluminum Single Mass Flywheel
  • Walbro 255 inline LPFP Upgrade
  • NGK Spark Plus
  • ECS Magnetic Drain Plug
  • I'm probably forgetting a few items...

Wheels/Tires
  • SSR GT2 Wheels 19x8.5F ET42 & 19x10R ET25
  • Rear wheels are an aggressive concave style – rear fenders were professionally stretched and pulled to fit wheels. They do not rub, even with four people in the car.
  • Wheels are naturally silver, however, they are currently plasti-dipped gunmetal grey satin[/INDENT]
  • Hankook Ventus V12 EVO 225/45?/19F & 245/35/19R
  • Tires are like new (more than 90% tread remaining) Fronts have ~1000 miles Rears have ~3000 miles
  • Front tires fit “right” – rear tires have a mild stretch. IMO – 255’s would probably be an ideal fit for rear
  • Factory TPMS units rebuilt
  • APEX 75mm Extended Wheel Studs and open nuts
  • APEX 12mm Wheel Spacers (Front only)

Appearance
  • Nokya Hyper Yellow Angel Eyes
  • Nokya Hyper Yellow Fog Lights
  • Nokya Hyper Yellow Adaptive (H3 Bulbs)
  • Factory grill is plasti-dipped matte black

BMW SPECIALTY TOOLS (Included with vehicle purchase)
  • ECS Jack Pad Adaptor
  • BMW Crank pulley securing tool
  • This is the expensive, N54 specific tool required to properly tighten the clutch (or harmonic damper)
  • ECS billet aluminum clutch bleed tool
  • This is required for bleeding clutch
  • Custom made brake bleeder
  • BMW’s need to have the brakes bled by pressurizing the system from the bottom up
  • I built a special tool in order to do this properly, this will be included with the vehicle
  • Schwaben Spark Plug Socket
  • Schwaben Oil Filter Adaptor & Socket
  • BMW INPA Software (Use for complex diagnostics and Coding)
  • Because this is known to be difficult to setup and requires Windows XP to run correctly, I will include a fully configured Windows XP Image you can install on any computer
  • This uses its own proprietary cable which will be included
  • Bavarian Technics Cable & Software (Use for basic diagnostics and Coding)
  • This is useful on its own, and is required for performing the BMS back-end flash
  • BMS JB4 extended cable
  • This is mounted in the car, accessible via the glove box
  • Additional 3’ cable extension also included
  • BMW Walnut Shell Blasting Tools
  • Special Wand
  • Blasting Kit
  • Box full of Walnut Shell Media
  • CNC machined (composite) N54 manifold adaptor

BONUS PARTS (Included with vehicle purchase)
  • Pretty much, a spare long block:
  • 2009 N54 Short Block Assembly
  • complete, good working order, assembled
  • ~ 50,000 miles
  • (2) Stock turbos and manifolds
  • good shape, no smoking, no shaft play
  • ~ 50,000 miles
  • Core (rebuildable) cylinder head and camshafts
  • The head is in good rebuildable condition, it has (mildly) bent exhaust valves.
  • None of the valves broke (just bent enough to not seal - no broken heads)
  • The valve seats/guides still look (visibly) good
  • Honestly, the head shouldn’t need more than 12 new valves and a valve job to be reused
  • An entire spare wiring harness with good condition sensors and pig tails included, this includes (but not limited to)
  • Spare Vanos sensors
  • Spare TMAP & MAP sensors
  • Spare knock sensors
  • Spare boost control solenoids
  • In addition, there are plenty of spare ‘hard-parts’ such as (but not limited to):
  • Spare injectors (I have 2 extra sets of injectors – 18 injectors altogether! - the spare sets could use a cleaning)
  • Spare ignition coils (if I recall, I still have 4 good spare coils)
  • Spare throttle body (good condition)
  • Spare fuel pump (good condition)
  • Spare vacuum pump (good condition)
  • Spare thermostat assembly
  • Spare oil filter housing
  • Spare intake manifold (perfect shape)
  • Spare AWD oil pan (perfect shape)
  • Honestly, there is a lot I’m forgetting. It is really too much to list – heck, I’ll throw in my box of spare BMW bolts (used one-time-use aluminum bolts, fasteners from spare engine, etc)
  • Of course, all of the OEM removed components will be included, specifically:
  • Factory Air Filter/Air box assembly
  • Factory Intercooler and piping
  • Factory charge pipe & diverter valves
  • Factory down pipes (with good condition cats)
  • Factory mid cats (these were cut out)
  • Factory cowl assembly
  • In case I forgot to list something, the bottom line is: with the exception of the factory clutch and mufflers, I have all of the stock parts I removed. These will all be included.
  • Stock 18” 5 start BMW Sport wheels
  • These will come with worn, but good condition tires (not currently mounted)
  • Finally, I have a few aftermarket parts which are not currently installed that I will include as well
  • BMS JB4 G4 with upgraded solenoids (this is my original JB4 board)
  • Spec aluminum flywheel for the spare engine
  • 6 bolt: late 2009.5+ N54 and N55 design
  • Less than 1000 miles of use
  • BMS ‘downpipe fix'
  • Note – BMS no longer sells these, so they are very valuable right now
  • This is what you need in order to pass a plug in test

Honestly, I’m leaving out boxes full of spare parts, things like good unused gaskets, spare pulleys, etc. I’m just looking to clear my garage out. If you see any BMW stuff when you come to pick up the car – it’s yours!

!!!! BONUS !!!! If you purchase the car before I'm able to sell these separately, I'll include – some take off parts from my e46 M3 – these are worth a few hundred dollars on their own. I've had them sitting in my garage for nearly 4 years and would prefer to use them to sweeten the pot than go through the hassle of selling individually, so:
  • AFM Stage 2 Air Intake kit with tube < 5000 miles
  • Spare (excellent condition < 50,000 miles) BMW e46 M3 MAF sensor
  • AFM dynamic intake scoops < 5000 miles
  • Brand new in the box e46 M3 carbon fiber splitters

  • BMW TMAP Sensor (@ ~60K)
  • Walnut Shell Blast ( I do this annually)

DISCLOSURES: Because pictures sometimes hide details, I would like to disclose any known areas of concern with the vehicle:
  • There are a few minor scratches on and around the passenger side rear door. They don’t seem to show up in the pictures. I've had these both professionally wet-sanded and professionally buffed; however, if you look close enough, in person, you will see them.
  • The car was in a very minor accident in October of 2014, I rear ended someone going < 10 mph in stop-and-go Atlanta traffic. I've included the VIN so you’re welcome to look up the vehicle history; however, I can also include the full accident report (with the pictures taken by my insurance company) upon request. All repair work was performed by Magnum Collision in Marietta, GA – LOOK THIS PLACE UP! – They near exclusively work on exotics/hot rods (my car was about the lowest end vehicle in their shop). They did an immaculate job using only factory BMW parts – in addition – I paid ~$2000 out of pocket (non-accident related) for them to clean up some other minor imperfections and pull/re-contour the rear fenders.
  • The BMS cowl elimination kit lets in a good bit of engine noise – this is normal – but the car is not going to be OEM BMW quiet. Note: the factory cowl assembly is included with the car and can be reinstalled.
  • The car has a single-mass flywheel conversion (Spec Stage 3+ with aluminum flywheel) – while this is a great, reliable clutch, with very good feel for an aftermarket clutch – it is noisy at idle. This is a normal noise that all modern vehicles which convert from a dual-mass to single-mass flywheel make (please Google single-mass conversions) – however, I don’t want there to be any surprises.
  • On the topic of noise, the factory vacuum pump is making a slight whirring noise – due to the cowl elimination this is more noticeable than normal. The vacuum pump appears to be working without issue; however, I am including a spare vacuum pump with the purchase of the car nonetheless.
  • The factory turbochargers are on their way out. At this point, they still function fine mechanically (i.e. boost/power is okay) however, they are beginning to smoke especially on acceleration. In addition, the stock wastegates ‘rattle’ – this is a very common issue on these cars. Note, there is a set of good condition stock turbos included with the car.
  • I currently have aftermarket (no-cats) downpipes installed on the car as well as the BMS ‘back-end’ flash tune. While in this state of tune, the vehicle will not pass emissions. The following items will be included with the sale: The stock tune, the factory catalytic converters, and a BMS downpipe fix kit (not currently installed).
  • Otherwise, while the car has some (very) minor nicks and scratches expected of a vehicle of its mileage, overall, the interior and exterior are in much better than average condition. Moreover, with the exception of the items specifically noted above, the car has been immaculately maintained and is in better than average mechanical condition.

DISCLAIMER: Vehicle is sold as-is with no warranties implied.
