Unhappy 2007 335i - Doors won't unlock

Since yesterday the doors on my 2007 335i sedan won't unlock either with the key FOB or the lock/unlock button on the dash.
I can only lock or unlock the driver's side door by inserting the key in the keyhole on the door handle

I read a few posts on this issue and looked in the fuse box.
The fuse map indicates the following fuses for the door locks - 33, 56, 57, 63

The first 3 are 15 amp small fuses (ATM?) and 63 is a 30 amp wide fuse (ATC?)

Slot 33 did not have any fuse in it. The only fuse that was blown was 57 and I replaced it with a 15 amp fuse. I also put in a 15 amp fuse in slot 33 (not sure if this cause any damage or be at most redundant)

But no luck, the non-driver doors just can't be unlocked.
And then I dropped the fuse puller in the fuse box and can't retrieve it :-)
Reaching inside the fuse box is tedious enough and made worse by not being able to open the passenger door.

Any other suggestions before I take it to the shop?

Thanks
