The "evidence" used was flaky to say the least and in the norm would not have even been submissable in court! He was more or less convicted on the basis of some receipts for clothes and a suspect witness statement by the shop keeper!!

In that case he should have be allowed to appeal and if it was found he wasn't guilty then he should be released. i just don't agree with this compassonaite bollocks!
