A 3 series will run you around $100/day on average as it has been said, plus being under 25 there is a big surcharge by most major rental companies. If you just need a set of wheels there, buy a DD for $1000 off craiglist and leave it there after. There plenty of cars there which will run and look good(Huindai, Volvo..etc). That is your best bet.
