Having said that I got an offer from a dealer which is around the Parkers valuation rather than Glass's valuation on the SLK55, so it's not an exact science.

10% discount has been a typical figure on a new car for many years. Looks like BMW are back to that point compared to the 18% discounts that were available from brokers last year.
That's probably good news for residuals.
