I agree 100% with Tony. Your first track event should be with your car in stock trim, no mods. I started (way back) with a standard VW Golf 1.8T, with stock 15" wheels (yes, 195/65/R15 tires) and then started to add suspension mods, bigger wheels with better rubber, a chip and better brake pads. Over a few events I was quicker than many others with more potent cars.

And people, stop it with your noisy exhausts...There is a douche in my neighborhood with a white E92 M3 who just disturbs everyone.

If you really want a racecar do like jgalaxy.
