There's no such thing as a permanent sealant or polish. Sometimes the Simoniz treatment dealers offer (for $250-500, depending on the make/model car) is advertised as a one-time everlasting solution, but that's not true at all. They're just blowing smoke to make extra profit.

Cars take effort to keep looking really clean, especially blacks (JB, SBM, etc). Having a good clean surface (washed and clayed) then treated with a good sealant every few months (such as Jetseal) and topped with your wax of choice every month or so (Poorboy's Nattys Blue is great for JB and SBM) will hopefully make things easier.
