I can tell you what i did yesterday on my 2006 bmw 330ix that seems to have worked perfectly and it cost me $99.75 There is a outfit on ebay called BMW CD73 OPTREX LCD GLASS PROFESSIONAL RADIO CD PLAYER E90 E91 E92 PIXEL REPAIR #150970466466. If you have any knowledge at all about taking things apart and putting them back together, you can accomplish this yourself. Takng the radio out of your car is so easy. Taking the radio apart is just as easy but you may make some notes on the disassembly. This is a new LCD panel repacement for the old defective one. Buying another used radio may not fix the problem. So far so good for my radio - it looks great.
HI there thanks for sharing. I have this issue on radio display but only when is hot weather and inside of car is HOT i noticed. My radio display shows dark spots and missing pixelation. Mornings and night no problem. Did you also have this issue? Thanks
