If you already have one, go ahead and try it. Couldn't hurt.
That said, I don't think it'll work they way you want it to... Rhapsody subscription music is encrypted so I wouldn't expect it to be accessible over USB mass storage.
If you put unencrypted audio on it over the USB link, I'm sure it'll work just fine... but if that's all you want you can probably find a cheaper option.
