the 8500 ci and the 9500 ci are NOT the same thing. The 9500 ci radar reciever is twin antenna design which is much more sensitive and is also undetectable by radar detector-detectors (Spectre) useful for people living in Virginia since they are illegal there.
Also, IMO, the only advantage the 9500ix has over the V1 is the GPS which locks out falses, something my wife likes. The V1 does better in testing than the 9500ix and has arrows to show the direction radar is coming from, invaluable IMO. |
Ok thanks. I should have said basically the same. I saved $1000.
