+1. Picked up a set of barely used BMW 17" rims and winters for $1,000 and am good to go. Remember that you will need spacers if the rims are narrower than stock, otherwise the winters will look lost. My biggest concern re winter driving is the front lip hitting frozen snow left by snow ploughs - fingers crossed for a mild winter!
