Moose, I think you can order this from IND. they have to order the full "335d" badge, but then they'll paint it any color you'd like (<$100, I believe). I agree that its a nice finishing touch.
My wheels are getting sprayed this week, and I have a 335 emblem being painted to match just in case I decide to use it (not sure I will yet, but wanted to see how it looked. The emblem was about $25 from getbmwparts.com and they're spraying it for free for me since they were already custom finishing the wheels in the same color. |
I picked up a gloss black emblem off of eBay. I'm just gonna put that on.
I was thinking of doing the d in green but I don't have any green on the car so I'll stick with my grey/black look.
Plus my vanity plate has enough dzl representation. It's funny seeing people in my rear view read my plate then see the d then look surprised.
