Interesting stuff. Its clear to see the valve stem carbon problem, which is pretty bad on your engine even tho you have been running a catch can for a long time. Thrashing it on track days has not burned off any of the carbon, so it looks like the carbon will be worse in engines that are driven normally.
Its a shame because the 335 is a beautiful motor, but obviously has problems...
Yours will be fantastic when its finished, good choice to have the head ported and polished as well,
